Alamo Art is a department of Breakthrough Publications Inc which has been in business since 1980.  It is the art annex to www.booksonhorses.com.  Alamo Art brings investment quality artwork about horses to American horse lovers.  The works we present are the original works.  They are not copies of any kind, not prints, nor giclees.  Most are painted with oil on canvas.  Some with a palette knife.  Some with special art pencils.  All are unique and special. 

Our artists have won many awards and enjoy major reputations.  Their works are collected by major institutions.  Prices vary widely depending on size and also on demand.  The works of some sell almost before the paint on them is dry. 

We display sold originals so our buyers can see examples of an artist's work.  Sold works will not be replicated as originals, but they do represent the artist's style. 

Potential buyers may sign up to be notified when a new work by an artist arrives in the gallery.  We urge potential buyers to join these waiting lists.  All works sell on a first-come, first-served basis.  We present new works first to the people on the waiting list.
